How It Works
First, sign-up, & complete your profile.
Then, browse the profiles of other players. Really size them up. You’ll be guessing about the average experiences of these LBQ women… ( i.e., how many times they’ve uhauled/seduced a straight girl/been in love; how often they workout/party/text an ex/wear flannel/scissor, etc.)
Each round, GUESS how other players your age will answer a few questions and choose the number of points you want to BET on your guesses being accurate based on the responses of other players. Then, collect points for ANSWERING the same questions for yourself. Receive a record of your guesses and bets via email as soon as you submit them.
If your guess is close enough to the average or aggregate response of other players then the points you BET will be added to your score. If your guess is dead on, you’ll win 2x your bet. But, if your guess is off, you’ll lose these points:<
Each round will stay open for 3 weeks and close after enough players have placed bets in each age-group. While you wait for results, help shape the competition and grab bonus points by submitting questions to be PARLAYed in future rounds and voting on those submitted by other players.
Get at a stereotype, a divisive community issue, or any experience you think might be amusing or valuable to PARLAY… anything goes. The top vote-getting questions will be featured in an upcoming round.
When the round closes we’ll text you a link to view your detailed, personalized results. Find out the accuracy of your guesses, the points you won and lost, how your responses compare to other lesbian, bi, and queer players, any stereotypes shattered or confirmed, and the winner of the cash prize.
The player with the highest score at the end of each round will get a cash prize between $50 and $500 dollars. Grand prizes will also be awarded to the players with the highest scores after 6 rounds. In each age-group, 1st place gets $1000, 2nd gets $500, and 3rd gets $250.

Who can play?
The competition is open to lesbian, bisexual, and queer, identified women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, & 50s residing in the United States. If you are a trans lez, bi, queer woman— YES of course you can play!
Is this FREE?
Yes! It is 100% free to PARLAY. All betting is done with points (opposed to your own money) which you collect for free in each round. The goal is to maximize your score by placing smart bets on accurate perceptions. We have 10K in cash prizes to award to top scorers!
Where does the prize money come from?
LezPARLAY was created by a group of lesbian & queer psychologists in Los Angeles. We came up with the idea and submitted a grant proposal to fund it back in June 2016. Two very long years later, we were awarded the money we requested for prizes and small budgets for development and promotion. If y’all like it we will strive to get additional funding and make it better. If not, we won’t.
Do I need to download an app or something?
Nope. LezPARLAY is an html5 app you access on any browser. No need to download anything from the app store! Just visit www.lezparlay.com on any internet connected device to create your account and play the current round.
Why does Lezparlay need my mobile phone number?
Two reasons
1) A unique registration code gets linked to your mobile number when you sign up. This helps ensure that players can only play each round once. The app then uses this registration code to link up your guesses, bets, and points across rounds.
2) LezPARLAY notifications are text-message based. Following each round you will get a text providing a link to your detailed results. We will also notify you via text if you win a prize. Your digits are safe with us. Your number will not be visible to other players and we promise NOT to spam you or share your number with third parties!
Will other players be able to see how I personally answered questions?
NO! Only YOU will know how you personally answered! In fact, as soon as you answer a question about yourself, the app de-identifies your answer and combines it with the responses of all other players in your age-group. What other players in your age-group WILL be able to see is a reel displaying the profile photos of all the women who also answered the questions and the AVERAGE or AGGREGATE response to each question for the group as a whole..
Is my data private?
Yes! LezPARLAY uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption (also known as HTTPS) for all transmitted data. Our services are hosted by trusted data centers that are independently audited using the industry standard SSAE-16 method. Check out our PRIVACY POLICY

This version of PARLAY was created for lesbian, bisexual and queer-identified in the United States and the game won’t make much sense if you aren’t a member of these communities. However, we are all about inclusivity and are down to create additional versions of the game if we get enough interest and some more funding.
